Research the state of drama production and broadcast within the British television industry at the present time and write an essay summing up your findings in answer to the following title question:
'Drama on British TV is the best it's ever been'. Discuss.
Use the following prompt questions to guide you (include comment on at least 4 points):

Sunday Night is Drama Night
The leaves are turning a burnished red and the air is cold and crisp - autumn is here. Hooray! This means that after a long summer of pretty rubbish television the major broadcasters will suddenly decide to throw huge amounts of quality programming at us all at once. And Sunday night is the traditional spot for the best and highest quality drama.
